Inspired by the Navajo Indigenous Tribe. Not only was my ancestry rooted in nations of indigenous peoples of the Cherokee, but I have loved ones within community that I've been inspired by, specifically of the Navajo tribes. I was inspired to create by the beauty of the Navajo symbolism. This particular design was inspired by the "butterfly" symbol which represents 'everlasting life.' A beautiful reminder that this life may not last forever, but our souls live on for eternity. And also, the "shaman's eye" which points directly at the center depicting a small eye. As one who studies the curandero path, the "shaman healer," I see eyes everywhere and in everything. Also a great reminder that the creator sees all, entrusting that your path unfolds perfectly and to leave your worries and fears to the creator.
