These beads are intentionally dispersed unequally as I wanted to create a little edge with the beauty these stones provide. I've been healing a perfectionist wound and for me, it's taken years to surrender, not just to the way my jewelry designs come out but in life, in general. To surrender to the outcome sometimes is the hardest part.

I used a multitude of different styles, shapes, and sizes of beads to portray just this--the surrender to imperfection. This entire necklace is a support to speaking truth and aiding in truth and clarity.

Turquoise- An ancient stone used by many different cultures; Persians, Egyptians, and Native Americans. It was often seen as a stone that opens the mind to limitless possibilities, as a great reminder this human experience is but a mere speck, at least through our perceptions as human. Turquoise is known as a good fortune stone, one used by travelers, used in ceremony and in rituals. Indigenous tribes would often place this stone at the headstones of the graves of their passed-on loved ones. This stone is great for social anxiety, a desire to speak more truthfully and from the heart and feel more whole within yourself.

Sodalite- A stone of insight and mental clarity. Great for subconscious work to reveal the true self to you, encouraging shadow work and healthy self-communication and reflection. Great for establishing communication with others and speaking your truth. Also aids in developing stronger intuition.

Lapis Lazuli- One of my all-time favorite stones. "Lapis" in Persian means "sky" or "heavens." It's a stone that assists with communication, truth, and a connection to higher sources of power. Also known as a royalty stone, as many kings, queens, and priests/priestesses would use this stone dating back to Mesopotamia.

Pyrite- Fools Gold. Named after the Greek word "pyro" meaning "fire." Pyrite connects to the solar plexus chakra activating our determination to complete goals. Pyrite is known for assisting with motivation. Great stone for getting things done, working out, and finalizing projects.
